So excited!

I made the top 6th chosen by goimagine: The Marketplace That Cares  staff!   This is a Maker Challenge for the month of September , theme was Velvet Crush.    Now the makers need your vote for winner and finalist,  https://goimagine.com/challenge-voting/.

I worked on a Crazy Quilt Junk Journal.  Because junk journals, the big ones take a lot of time.  I didn't think I could make it on time.  It became more of a personal challenge for me.  I'm glad I went ahead and finished the Junk Journal.    Details in my shop page https://goimagine.com/velvet-crush-crazy-quilt-junk-journal/.    If you have time head on over to vote and check out other shops in goimagine: The Marketplace That Cares lots of great handmade artwork.

Thanks for dropping by, enjoy!

Autumn Colors

I love the fall season and all the beautiful colors and the coolness it brings.  Foggy mornings, overcast days and walks in the woods.  When the sunshine's on those changing leaves against blue sky, oh my!   Inspiring to create some art. I got started with some fall cards and tags that I have in my shop but getting ready to fire up the dye pot to do some botanical eco printing on paper and fiber.   Theres lots of dyeing material in my gardens so I will be sharing that process soon.

Got my rigid heddle loom wrapped and ready to make either a shawl or table runner with the fall colors that I'm spinning art yarns to add.  I like to take my projects outside with a cup of coffee to work on and enjoy my favorite time of year.

Heres a few of my fall collection of cards and tags (great for gift tags or pop in your journals) in my Goimagine  Shops :: Fiber Passion Studios

Thank You for dropping,  enjoy the season!

Welcome to my new fiber and paperwork arts blog.

Hi I'm Linda, Welcome to my new blog Fiber Passion Studios that will be art projects I'm working on and have done.   Its been awhile since I have done a blog.   In 2020 my daughter and I opened a brick-and-mortar shop that we had for a year.  It was a lot of fun with classes and sharing but I just didn't  have time to   really do the art  I wanted to do.  It was always very busy.     We had a year lease and the building was being sold, so we had the option to buy or move on.   We chose to move on and for me to get back to my artwork in my at home studios.    For a year I didn't dye fibers, spin, weave and paint.  I missed that so much.

I did a few classes this year at another shop , it was fun as well but  I still wanted to be more at home, esp. as my husband and I get older .      So its the perfect fit for me where I'm more at home and do my arts and get my work out there.   So I joined   goimagine: The Marketplace That Cares
, set up my new shop , adding my arts and having a blast,  this is working for me.    Now I can get back to what I enjoy making and sharing.     From fiber to paper works, I love it all and learning new techniques.

I have lots to learn on online selling and promoting my arts and  even learning how to set up my blog again.   I hope blogging will be like riding a bicycle, but I'm sure there's new things added to learn.    I'm up for learning new stuff!

I will be sharing here what I'm adding to my new shop.   I have some things already from seasonal cards, junk journals, tags, and even fiber art batts with more  fun things to add.      My shops name and link Fiber Passion Studios    Shops :: Fiber Passion Studios   ,   enjoy your visit and Thank You.

Heres a collection of fall/winter nature cards I have listed in my shop, they are on the grungy side with a misty in the darkish woods look.

Thanks for your visit, if you have a blog or a webpage, let me know, I will go over for a visit.   Take good care and enjoy the seasons. esp Autumn!
